  • I am a private-pay provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt of services—that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider. I encourage you to check with your insurance plan to see what benefits they offer for out-of-network mental health care. Choosing private pay allows us to work together without the limitations often imposed by insurance, ensuring care that is personalized, private, and flexible.

  • I treat a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, ADHD, and other mood-related challenges. My approach is collaborative and tailored, ensuring that we address your unique needs and goals.

  • The assessment phase consists of 1-3 sessions, each lasting about 60 minutes. During this time, I’ll take a thorough and thoughtful look at your personal history, current symptoms, and overall mental health. I may also incorporate validated psychometric tools to help us gather a comprehensive understanding of your needs. This process gives us a solid foundation to develop a treatment plan that is tailored specifically for you.

  • The frequency of follow-up appointments depends on your needs. For most people, follow-ups are typically once a month to monitor progress and make adjustments if needed. However, when starting a new medication, adjusting dosages, or navigating a period of increased symptoms, we may meet more frequently—sometimes every 1-2 weeks—to ensure you’re feeling supported and making steady progress. Together, we’ll determine a rhythm that feels right for you.

  • While I am double-board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, I am currently accepting patients 18 and older. My experience in child and adolescent psychiatry has given me a unique perspective on the developmental and relational dynamics that impact mental health, which enhances the care I provide to adults.

  • While I do not currently provide individual therapy, I have extensive training in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and psychodynamic approaches. I can make well-informed recommendations for therapy that best suits your needs and collaborate closely with your therapist to ensure a comprehensive, integrated approach to your care.

  • I provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment for ADHD, including exploring non-stimulant medication options and holistic approaches to managing symptoms. At this time, I do not prescribe stimulant medications. Due to current DEA regulations, prescribing stimulants requires in-person visits, which I am not offering as my practice is fully telehealth-based.

If stimulant medication is necessary, I will work with you to determine the best next steps. This might include collaborating with your primary care provider or referring you to an in-person specialist who can meet those needs. My goal is to ensure you feel supported and empowered throughout your treatment journey.
